Proyecto Museo and Visualma developed an immersive 3D projection-mapping experience for the Museo Regional de Cholula. The installation transformed a gallery into an enveloping environment with a 12 × 4.5 m projection surface, visual coverage of up to 270°, 5.1 surround sound, total blackout, acoustic treatment, and DMX-synchronized lighting.

Challenge
Create an immersive experience within the museum without altering the historic fabric of the venue.
Response
A large-format projection structure, surround-sound system, lighting control, and holographic surface were designed to transform the gallery into a sensory and narrative experience.
