Sonidos del Mundo del MIM 2018

The visual documentation of the 2018 edition shows instruments from different regions presented in display cases, on custom mounts, with large-format photography and audiovisual media. The exhibition continued the collaboration between Proyecto Museo and the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix.

Challenge

Present instruments of diverse materials, scales and geometries as sound-producing objects and cultural expressions.

Response

Individualized mounts, display cases, images and audiovisual media restored a human context to each group of objects.
